We are pleased to announce the promotion of Justin Bainton to Associate.

Justin has had 10 years planning experience in both the public and private sectors. He gained a degree, diploma and Masters in Town Planning at Oxford Brookes University in the early 90s. His first job was at Forest Heath District Council as a Planning Assistant. He then spent 3½ years working for Cambridge City Council as a Planning Officer and advanced to Senior Planning Officer, within the Council’s Development Control Department. He completed a Certificate in Management at Anglia Ruskin University in 2004 before starting working for Januarys Planning Department.

Life is never dull for Justin at Januarys, he deals with a wide range of planning  related work, including general planning advice; site appraisals and preliminary site investigations; full planning applications for both residential and commercial developments; undertaking appeals; carrying out planning and enforcement appeals and undertaking Development Plan Representations.

Speaking of Justin’s promotion, John Callin, MD of Januarys comments, “The Board had no hesitation in agreeing to promote Justin to Associate. It is in recognition of his extensive contribution made to the Planning Department over many years of work.  His levels of commitment and professionalism are unprecedented; he continually achieves that extra bit of perfection in every project he works on. But at the same time he is a realist and tries to anticipate problems before they occur, his perception is outstanding for a young person. The Januarys Board congratulates him on this achievement and look forward to continuing to work with Justin for many years to come”.
