Relevant Experience

• Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989; appointed a Fellow of the Institute in 2000.
• Ten years audit and insolvency experience with a top ten international firm of chartered accountants.
• Seven years as the Financial Controller of Treatt plc, managing the Finance Department and complying with all Stock Exchange reporting regulations.
• Three years with Nilfisk-Advance as Finance Director, helping to turn historic losses into a profit, and project-managing the relocation of the Head Office.
• Two years as a Director of City College Norwich, managing 200 staff across Finance, ICT, Estates, Facilities and Admin-Support.
• Joined Januarys in October 2006.

Main areas of responsibility

• Overseeing and reporting on all aspects of the company’s finances.
• Ensuring the effective and efficient management of Clients’ Monies.
• Managing all other non-fee-earning functions, including HR, ICT, premises, company secretarial, and other administration.
